Feedpass: Vultures!

What's with Feedpass?
I create the content and someone else gets to monetize if they claim my blog? That's worst than negative option billing once used by cablecos. When I tried to claim my blog, Feedpass makes you go through several hoops, including one in which you have to paste a short string of numbers into the title of your blog; then republish the blog, then put back your original title, and then republish it. Got that? There has got to be an easier system for blog owners, who could see their blogs hi-jacked. I'm with TechCrunch, which suggests Feedpass "does absolutely nothing", and Alec Saunders, whose post is aptly titled "The Feedpass Conundrum". Alec raises the very real issue of people putting Feedpass "claims" on popular blogs such as TechCrunch to generate money with little effort.
